About Cam Winton for Mayor
On November 5, 2013, Minneapolis will elect a new mayor.
The best choice is Cam Winton.
It's the first open-seat election for mayor of Minneapolis in 20 years -- and the first to use Ranked-Choice Voting, so there's no primary election and voters rank their preferences between all of the candidates.
Together, these factors present Minneapolis with a once-in-a-generation opportunity to choose the leader who will chart the city's next chapter.
As KSTP has reported, "Winton says his campaign is all about building on what's great about Minneapolis while bringing a fresh set of eyes to the city's challenges. The lawyer/wind turbine businessman says his campaign is all about grassroots support. . . . Winton says he is not seeking the endorsement of any political party. Instead, he will run as an independent. He says he doesn't want to be behold[en] to anyone when he wins the top spot in the City of Minneapolis."
If you believe it's time for a fresh set of eyes looking at the challenges we face, then please join our campaign to elect Cam Winton as the next mayor of Minneapolis.
